How to dose

 

What output does a dosing dispenser need to have? Calculate it using the following basic formula:

If the output calculating is too tight, underdosing may result and impact effectiveness! So in case of doubt, we recommend choosing a dosing dispenser of the next bigger size.

This device is ideal for smaller harvesting machines. Use it to dose chemical silaging additive (neutral salt solutions) or water-based biological silaging additives. As a special model, this dosing dispenser can also handle chemical preservatives with a pH value of >5.

Type designation:

  • SILASPRAY ® SP Junior up to 320 L/h

Application rate (min-max):

  • Watery solutions at 30-320L/h
  • Viscose solutions at 10-230L/h

Infinitely adjustable at 2.5 bar max.

Features:

  • Doses up to 320L/h of biolog./chem. solutions infinitely adjustable speed regulator
  • Volume control displayed via a float-type flow meter
  • Easy to install on any machine.

Specifications:

  • Electric 12VDC/8A pump

Scope of delivery:

  • Digital display of the actual throughput and 2 integrated memory stores that can be reset to zero, if necessary
  • ” The user can access one of the saved silaging additives from the memory store or saves the data of the existing silaging additive. The user enters the estimated harvest throughput. The device will then calculate the delivery rate target value, control the device and monitor the dose
